Lynda experienced a profound healing by her barrel horse in 1985. Strider was standing about 10 feet away during the experience. Living in Northern Alberta, she would get depressed every winter due to the lack of sun. Lynda noticed Strider standing quietly, staring at her intently, at a moment when she didn't know what to do with herself, she felt so low. Lynda looked into Strider's eyes and couldn't look away. She suddenly felt the physical sensation of Strider reaching down inside of her, to 'pull her up'; the only words she had to explain what she felt in that moment as their eyes locked. Not knowing anything about energy, yet knowing something huge had just happened, the next morning, her depression began to lift.
Learning as her horses taught her through their injuries, illness and issues brought forth from their previous homes, Lynda then expanded her knowledge through new tools to work through physical/emotional trauma-induced behavioural problems...results that enhance western medicine and natural horsemanship trainings. Understanding that horses reflect back to us our own issues allows personal expansion. While healing our equine partner we heal ourselves.
Lynda explored what she'd been doing intuitively, to learn about energy, interspecies communication, and shamanic studies for the purpose of working with horses. She began to transfer what she'd learned on humans, to horses. She began teaching Equine Reiki in the late 90's, evolving into quantum healing after her shamanic death.
Horse Nation. for the years of carrying humanity through many changes in our evolution, have been/is being activated in their higher chakras. Horses are stepping into their true purpose of bringing humanity into wholeness. Horses allow humans to bring down the walls around their hearts to shift themselves into becoming whole, sovereign and authentically themselves. What has stayed with her is the inner knowing from first hand experience, of how horses are profound healers.
